MITC transitions to nonprofit status, aims to scale worldwide.

The Music Industry Therapist Collective (MITC) has announced its transition to nonprofit status as it aims to scale mental health support across the global music industry.

The shift to nonprofit status will unlock new funding opportunities and partnerships for the collective, allowing the MITC to provide industry-specific services for personel including performing artists, touring professionals, and business organisations.

“Becoming a nonprofit gives us the structure to deliver what the music industry needs most right now – flexible, creative, clinically robust support that meets people where they are,” says founder Tamsin Embleton. “It allows us to keep innovating, respond quickly to real-world pressures, and reinvest directly into the artists, crews, and teams who keep this industry running.”
